Socratic Dialogue
and Ethics

In 1996 on occasion of our first international conference in Britain we discussed "The Socratic Dialogue and Critical Philosophy". In 1998 in the Netherlands we focussed on application of Socratic Dialogue in business and organisations, the title was "Socratic Dialogue at Work – The Dutch Experience". 

This years conference topics will embrace: 

PART A (24.7.-26.7.2000) 

Socratic Dialogue groups discussing ethical topics 

PART B (26.7-29.7.2000) 

Workshops, lecturettes and discussions on Socratic Dialogue: the link between ethics and Socratic Dialogue; the use of Socratic Dialogue in school lessons, in social and political life, in business etc.; methods, methodologies, strategies, analysis and interaction in Socratic Dialogue; the training of facilitators, training of socratic skills etc. 

The first half of the week (Monday to Wednesday) will be devoted to work in Socratic groups on ethical topics; the second half (Wednesday to Saturday) to workshops and a lecture programme. Participants may enrol for the whole week, or for the first or second part only.
